Hello there :) Today we had one of the sunniest days in Eyjafjörður. It was still quite wavy and cold due to the persistent wind from the north but the sun does make a difference. But lucky for us whales don’t mind the weather. And so, we were very fortunate to find a very big and very nice Humpback whale just past Hjalteyri. And surprise, surprise…. it seems to be a NEW Humpback whale, not seen before in the fjord. But that is not all, because during the night tours we have also found a 2nd Humpback whale just by Laufasgrunn, and I have to say it was quite odd because that area it's only 5m deep! But any way we really enjoyed its surfacing and even a tail-lob.
