Whale hello there! Today we sailed off from a very cloudy and choppy Akureyri in to our lovely Eyjafjörður. But every hour the weather kept getting better and better, so by the time we had our fist encounter just east of Hrísey island the skies were clearer and the sea was almost flat. And there it was a very big and extra nice Humpback whale swimming around us and showing us the fluke non stop.

In the afternoon the sea conditions got even better… with an incredible flat sea surface we were able to spot another individual of humpback whale which was swimming peacefully along the outstanding Eyjafjordur, in other words, wonderful day for all kind of public!
