Sunshine, blue skies and our 3 wonderful Northern bottlenose whales are still in the harbour. So we started the day with sightings of the Northern bottlenose whales and this morning they surprised us by showing some breaching behaviour. When we went further north in the afternoon we spotted a Humpback whale north of Hauganes. The Humpback whale was really calm spending quite a bit of time at the surface. Our Express afternoon tour even made it to the Icelandic news as they were filming an item about the Northern bottlenose whales. Hopefully we are going to have another sunny day with the Northern bottlenose whales tomorrow.
