Hello there! Today started off very sunny and windless, though it didn’t take long for the southern winds to pick up and blow us away from Akureyri and into the fjord. Quite unexpectedly, we found a humpback whale just by Hjalteyri. Later on, we found the very same whale east of Hrísey! Under soft rain, we marveled at how curious this whale was towards us. And to top it all up: a minke whale smoothly cruising by on the background!
