Good evening everybody! Today we sailed out onto Eyjafjörður in a bit more challenging conditions with a strong northern wind. In the morning, we were greeted by the two Northern Bottlenose Whales in Pollurinn before we started our tour!
On our afternoon tour we had to sail out quite a bit, but we were able to spot a Humpback Whale north east of Hrísey! This Humpback Whale resurfaced several times around our boat and we were able to have a very good look at it when it came up for a breath right in front of our boat. Wow! The waiting was worth it once again.
Let’s hope that the wind calms down more until tomorrow before we sail out again in search of our beloved whales of Eyjafjörður!
