Hello everyone! Finally, we were able to sail out again because the weather conditions were much better. In the morning and afternoon tour we just had to reach Hjalteyri to spot the first whales of the day, there were up to 3 different humpback whales in the area. In the evening tour, in the harbour area we spotted 4 northern bottlenose whales, two adults and two juveniles but as they went for one of their typical long dives we decided to leave them and keep sailing north. Again, close to Hjalteyri we spotted one humpback whale but as it was a bit tricky to see we left it and south Hrísey we spent more time with another humpback, that once came up very close to us, and while we were waiting to have it back on the surface, we saw a shy minke whale.
