Hello everybody! Today we started the day sailing with the fjord full of humpback whales. In the morning, despite starting sailing on a cloudy and cold day, the sea conditions were very good and just south of Hjalteyri we found our first humpback whale of the day, after being for a while with this whale we left it because we saw another individual further north. At the end we saw up to five different humpback whales and two of them swimming together. We also saw a group of harbour porpoises and due to the mirror-like sea was quite easy to spot them so most of the passengers could see these very shy cetaceans. In the afternoon, we went to the same area were we spotted the whales in the morning and there they were, three humpback whales north Hjalteyri with again the two individuals swimming together. What a great day in Eyafjorður!
