We had a very calm and sunny, but rather cold day in Eyjafjörður today! The sailing conditions were great.
As we sailed out, we encountered two Minke Whales north of the green buoy as well as several pods of Harbor Porpoises along the way.
South of Hjalteyri, we spotted blows and soon counted six Humpback Whales in the surrounding area!
We had incredibly close encounters and truly got spoiled by these beautiful whales! It was beautiful.
Several times, we had Humpback Whales surface right next to us! Everyone on board got very excited to see the Humpbacks right in front of us!
