A typical autumn day today with low clouds, partially light rain and moderate north wind. The sea conditions were really good with small wind waves and a little bit of ground swell.

On our morning tours we had some lovely encounters, pretty close with beautiful flukes. In total we saw 7 Humpback Whales and also one Minke Whale, which was swimming directly towards our boat. All of these animals were just south east of Hrisey, and two stuck together as a pair. On the way back two Harbour Porpoises popped up as well, about 1 kilometer south of Hjalteyri.
