Today, we sailed out in a windy and mostly rainy fjord. But it was so worth it!
This morning, we spotted two Humpback Whales south of Hauganes. One of them was Ískona, a whale that we have been seeing in Eyjafjörður since 2019!
On our afternoon tour, we spotted two additional Humpback Whales in the same area, so we encountered a total of four different individuals.
We had numerous great and up-close encounters today. Having a Humpback Whale surface close to our boat and proceeding to lift its fluke before the deep dive is just an amazing experience!
