Gorgeous bluebird day. Little wind and calm sea.
On our way out close to the green buoy we encountered lots of Harbour Porpoises jumping around. It was great to see with these conditions.
Shortly after we saw one Humpback Whale east of Hjalteyri. We watched him 3 times and then went on a little scenic cruise further north where we then encountered countless more Humpback Whales moving around as pairs, small groups and individual. Fairly spread around from close to Hauganes all the way to the shore north of Grenivik. Again we had a group of 5 and another of 3 but with different individuals this time. I’m sure we saw more Whales today, likely about 16-20 Humpback Whales.
Nice to see them still sticking around.
