Blessaður,
Todays weather was defined by overcast cloud cover a slight breeze in few places but glassy further north. The wind increased throughout the tour. Visibility was good and the water was pretty clear as well.
In total we encountered approximately 14-16 Humpback Whales. The first 2 next to Hjalteyri and the others between Hauganes and Grenivik. There was a group of 3, 5 and multiple individuals by themselves. Lots of “communicating” between the whales. Close encounters included but not in “gopro-distance”.
Almost all of the Whales that have moved further north are individuals that we’ve been seeing for weeks now.
Furthermore we saw a few Harbour Porpoises doing porpoise things close to the green buoy.
