Weather: Medium strength southern wind - shielded by the mountains. Overcast skies.
A singular Humpback Whale was spotted South East Hjaltery, however, we did not stay with this whale as we were aware about more further north. We continued sailing to the area around the South East of Hrisey. Here we found approximately 20 White Beaked Dolphins, very hard to count as they were wide spread (could have been much more), and anywhere between 20 and 30 Humpback Whales. The whales were mostly singular, with a pair which became a 4 and a group of 3. There was no moment without a whale at the surface and they could be seen in all directions. We had several close approaches from the whales and a sustained period of bow riding from the dolphins.
