Gorgeous day today with clear sky and the sun, well as much as we get when shes peaking over the mountains. Bit chilly for sure. Light S wind.
The tour started off nicely with the fjord steaming in the morning. We also got provided by some quality views all the way out. Freshly covered snowy mountains in some lovely light.
And as if the day couldn’t get any better after a nice scenic cruise, we encountered 6 Humpback Whales in an somewhat unusual location, the west side of Hrisey.
But on that side the mountains are even prettier, so double jackpot.
They were really close literally 3m from the boat, just slowly swimming past.
