Hello everyone! Today we sailed out in cold but overall good conditions with a bit of swell here in Eyjafjörður.
We got to see the first blows around the northeastern part of Hrísey! It was very exciting as we actually saw two different flukes going for a deep dive from the distance. As we slowly approached the area, these two Humpback Whales came up for another breath behind our boat! We were able to watch these two whales resurface several times in the area around our boat and got to see several almost synchronized dives! It was beautiful and quite special to see them swimming together, we truly enjoyed watching these two Humpback Whales.
