Beautiful winter day in the fjord. Today we had perfect sailing weather, clear skies and calm seas made the tour very enjoyable from the beginning. It took us a while to sail before we spotted our first blows just around Arskossadur and it was 2 Humpback whales swimming together! Charles and Jasper kept us company until we spotted two more whales in the distance. We sailed further north and found Van Whalen and Inkblot joyfully exploring the area together! We had few fantastic encounters and a beautiful goodbye when the whales went for a dive just in front of the boat. On our way back we spotted one more blow just by Hjalteyri! So we definitely missed this one on the way out. We waited to see him at least for one time and it was so worth it - the whale came up just meters away from the boat behind us! All together 5 Humpback whales today!
