We had a great start into the new week and sailed out in sunny conditions. We faced a little bit of wind today, but had very good conditions with great visibility.
We spotted the first blow east of Hrísey and saw two Humpback Whales swimming together. Just moments after that, we saw one more Humpback Whale swimming alone close by!
So we ended up being able to watch three Humpback Whales resurfacing a number of times in the same area! We had some beautifully close encounters and got to hear their breaths as the Humpback Whales came up for a breath. They went for several dives one after the other, we did not have to wait too long for the next whale to resurface and it was incredible to watch these three wonderful Humpback Whales!
