Good afternoon! We sailed out in windy conditions with some swell in our fjord today, but we even had some sunshine during the tour.
We were rewarded when we encountered one Humpback Whale close to Genivík! First we saw the blows form a distance and as we got closer, we were able to see them more clearly. The Humpback Whale did not let us wait too much, it resurfaced several times and even came up for a breath right next to our boat.
It was super beautiful to watch this Humpback Whale today and the passengers on our boat were cheering when the whale lifted the fluke and went for a deep dive!
