What a beautiful sunny day! Today we sailed out in perfect weather and had just incredible sightings throughout the whole tour. We saw at least 5 Humpback whales! Southern wind was making it a bit difficult to spot animals and to sail back but just above Arskogssandur we spotted our first blows. It was 2 Humpback whales, one new and one already familiar to us - Prince Charles! We stayed in the area and spotted a blow behind us, quite far, close to Hjalteyri so we did not rush there as we decided to try to find him on the way back. Meanwhile we spotted two more blows towards north so we aimed there on full speed and it was Inkblot and Arheta Frankfin! On our way back we took another look at our first two Humpbacks, we didn’t manage to find the one close to Hjalteri but we had few incredible encounters with those 4 whales!
