Starting the day off with gorgeous weather and perfect sailing conditions on the water. The afternoon tours were still followed by pure sunshine, but moderate northerly winds, which created some small choppy waves. On our tours, we encountered 3 Humpback Whales just about 20 min into the fjord. One of these Humpback Whales was a great surprise, since it is actually new to the area. All whale encounters were very friendly with beautiful diving views. Furthermore we spotted Harbour Porpoises on all tours along the way, but especially close to Akureyri.
We are very excited about the next days!
