Today we had good weather conditions. The sun was shinning, but the wind picked up a bit in the afternoon. During all of our tours we saw two Humpback Whales close to Akureyri !
We had unbelievable encounters. They came up for a breath right next to our boat several times . Wow !
We felt very lucky to be as close as we were today to those beautiful cetaceans. We got to see feeding behaviour and managed to observe them extremely well .
On our morning tour we also spotted a Minke Whale north of the green buoy as well as Harbour Porpoises
while sailing towards Hjalteyri.
It was an unbelievable and unforgettable day !
