Good evening everybody!
The weather was great today, the fjord was mostly calm and we had lots of sunshine during our tours!
On our tours today, we spotted big pods of Harbour Porpoises and plenty of birdlife! On top of that, we encountered a Mink Whale on all tours! We saw the Harbour Porpoises in different locations between Hjalteyri and the eastern side of Hrísey. The Minke Whale could be seen repeatedly just south of Grenivík and we even had a few close encounters with this whale. At one point, it even lifted its head out of the water in a way of spy hopping next to another boat and we were able to see this curious behavior very well. It was incredible!
It was a gorgeous day and we are already excited for our upcoming tours!
