Whale hello there!
We had a very interesting and changing day here in our lovely Eyjafjörður. First thing in the morning we departed from Akureyri under a foggy and snowy day, but of course the whales do not mind the weather since just before Svalbarðseyri we had quite a lot of Harbour Porpoises popping right and left of the boat. We had to sail a little bit further out to find the big ones, but it was only past Hjalteyri were at the same time we encountered one Minke Whale and also one Humpback Whale!
On our afternoon tours, we encountered two Humpback Whales north of Hjalteyri!
What an exciting day in our fjord, we are looking forward to sailing out again tomorrow!
