Hello everyone! Today, because of the weather conditions, wind and choppy sea, we had to cancel our rib tours, but we were able to go with our biggest boat Holmasol. So at 14:00 we braved the weather and sailed out. We needed to go North of Hrisey island where we spotted a curious Humpback whale. It was surfacing very close to the boat and because there was plenty of fish just 15 meters bellow the surface, the humpy wasn’t spending too much time under the water and we saw it many times. Together with the Humpback we saw many seabirds, arctic terns feeding on the food the whale was leaving behind, northern fulmars, kittiwakes, black guillemots, eider ducks…So, despite the windy day we had an amazing trip!
