Good evening!
Today we sailed out in a windy, but sunny fjord.
During our morning tours, we spotted one Minke Whale south of Hrísey, as well as two different Humpback Whales close to Hrólfssker! Along the way, we also spotted many Harbour Porpoises.
In the afternoon, we saw the two Humpbacks again south of Hrólfssker. We had incredible encounters today, one of the Humpback Whales lifted its pectoral fin out of the water several times and they stayed at the surface for a long time just in front of our boat!!! It was amazing.
On the way back, we encountered a pod of White Beaked Dolphins east of Hrísey, which even jumped out of the water!
What a fantastic day!
