Hello everyone, today was a bit sunny but windy. But that didn't stop us from enjoying today's tours. In the morning we saw minke whales very close to Svalbarðseyri on the express tour. This whale took a large portion of water with tasty fish right in front of our boat. It was an amazing experience. We saw almost the entire whale body on the surface. This way, our guests had a better look on how big these whales are and what they look like. In the afternoon, the wind died down a bit, so we got further into the fjord, where we saw several Humpback Whales. It was amazing.. The whales were surrounding us so that we couldn't decide which one to look at. Also one slapped it´s tail. Perhaps because it didn´t like the company of the other whale? Who knows..:-) We can only guess. We also saw harbor porpoises and many birds such as Artic Tern, Black Guillemot, Northern Fulmar along the way. And already at the station we saw the mother Eider duck with young ones. So cute. We are already looking forward to what we will see with our guests tomorrow..
