Yet again another fantastic day up here in the north of Iceland. Starting with light wind and pure sunshine once again. the calm ocean and majestic scenery provided some epic views for all our tours. Just a little further north of Akureyri we encountered two Humpback Whales, literally right next to each other, just cruising around and spending lots of time at the surface. This gave everyone a great opportunity to hear the wahles breath, that is how close they came to our boats. And of course our beautiful mountains surrounding the fjord, set the perfect background for any picture. And as if this wasn’t good enough already, we spotted some more Harbour Porpoises on our way back to the harbour.
