Whale hello there,

Today we had another great sunny day on our beautiful Eyjafjorður. Throughout the day we were also blessed with a very flat sea. We saw a couple of harbor porpoises on the way to NE Hísey. At first we found a calm Humpback whale just a few meters from us, but after a while it started to but the best show out for us with tail slapping, inverted tail slapping, pec slapping and some fluking in between. It was pretty amazing. And on our way back the cherry on top was a small pod of around 6 White Beaked Dolphins just North of Hjalteyri. During our afternoon tours, we 1st encountered 2 Humpback whales just south Hrólfssker, just fluking calmly until one of them decided to do a couple of tail-slaps followed by a couple of pec-slaps as well. while in the distance the active humpback from the morning started breaching in the distance. We also saw a lot of different birds like the Black guillemots, Fulmars, Black-legged kittiwakes and Artic Terns. A wonderful day full of surprises. I'm already looking forward to another day with our beautiful whales.
