Hello everyone! Today the whales made us sail further, but it was not a problem since we were able to enjoy the spectacular landscape that Eyjafjörður offers us. In the morning tours we spotted a Humpback whale by the town of Hauganes, although sometimes it came up to the surface a bit far from us, we were also able to enjoy it up close. On the way back we spotted some Harbour porpoises, although not everyone could see them, and the thing is that harbour porpoises some times are a bit tricky to spot, that is the reason we always recommend to stay focus, keep your eyes open and look all around, cause they can pop up at anytime; a trick is to look for flocks of birds flying close to the surface, as many times are feeding together with them. In the afternoon tour, we spotted 3 Humpback whales south Hrísey, and we could see them so well, so both, passengers and crew enjoyed it very much. And last but not least on the evening tour it only got better when we had all around us 4 Humpback whales FEEDING SUPER CLOSE TO THE BOAT! It was simply amazing!
