On this amazing sunny and warm day we started sailing with moderate wind which eased out during the day.

Over all sailing conditions were really good and we traveled all the way up north of Hrisey. With great success we encountered at least 3 Humpback Whales, swimming in pairs and alone. They even got very close to our boat. On the way through Eyjafjördur we spotted multiple pods of Harbor Porpoises. But we didn’t only spot whales. Lots of bird wildlife along the way always kept us entertained.

We’re very looking forward for the upcoming days.
