Hi everyone, today it was cloudy in places with showers. In the morning we were lucky and saw three humpback whales.

One was travelling.. it surfaced a couple of times and disappeared under the surface for 5-7 minutes. It repeated this behavior several times. But we decided to follow other whales that we saw a few meters from the ship. And they were just having lunch... We saw one whale very close to the ship taking a big gulp. It was amazing because we had the opportunity to see the whole head of a humpback whale.

In the afternoon, on the way to our whales, we saw not only Fulmar, Artic Terns, Black Guillemot, Eider Duck with chicks, but also several Atlantic Puffins. What a surprise.. We saw larger groups of them and they were also very near Svalbarðseyri , which was a big surprise for us. And finally whales.. We saw several whales and one very close. It was resting just below the surface close of our Rib boat. It was an unforgettable experience not only for us as a crew, but also for our whale watchers...We already looking forward to what we'll see tomorrow.
