Whale hello there, and Happy Sjómannadagur (Seaman’s day) to every one!

We sailed out from a cloudy Akureyri, but with a very flat sea and just nest to Svalbarðseyr we found 2 Minke whales feeding, and it was indeed amazing since one of them was surface feeding so we could clearly see all of the baleen plates. After a while we let them to feed on their own and decides to sail further North, and just Nort-East Hrísey we found one more Minke whale as well as 3 Humpback whales and one of them was surfacing very very close to us!

It was a Whaletastic day in our lovely fjorð. with a total of 3 Minkes and 3 Humpacks.
