Hello everyone! Sunny and not too windy day in the fjord. We are having a lot of luck these days with the minke whales, since we are witnessing their feeding behavior, which is spectacular, allowing us to see much of their body out of the water. In the morning tours we were able to spot a Minke Whale feeding along with kittiwakes and arctic terns by the town of Svalbarðseyri. After spending some time with it, we decided to continue sailing to see what else we could find. The luckiest passengers could see a pair of harbor porpoises. South east of Hrísey island we found a humpback whale. In the afternoon, we spot the minke whale feeding again, although this time a bit less active, it would have a full belly by now! After some time with the minke, we kept sailing north but we had no luck and couldn't find the humpback whale, as we were running out of time we turned around and on the way back we saw again some harbor porpoises and by Svalbarðseyri the Minke whale with which we spent some time to say goodbye to it.
