Hello, dear whale enthusiasts.

Today we had wonderful sunny weather and also calm water, so we didn't miss a single dorsal fin. In the morning, we saw a humpback whale near Hjalteyri and it showed itself to us several times. Every 7 minutes it surfaced for another breath as if it had set an alarm:-) That nature is simply amazing.

In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to see the same whale in almost the same place. And again it honored us with its closeness and elegance. This time it surfaced three times and stayed just under the water surface for a minute before going for deepest dive. And this is how it appeared us several times. Then we decided to go further north. Along the way we were accompanied by few Northern Fulmars and we also saw several Harbour Porpoises and Black Guillemots. South of Hrísey we found two awesome humpback whales with whom we spent the rest of our tour. Our guests had the opportunity not only to see the whales up close, but also to hear every breath that the whales take.

Amazing weather accompanied by great water conditions and curious whales... I can't imagine a more beautiful day and I'm already looking forward to tomorrow.
