Hi Whale Friends,

This morning we found a humpback whale near Hjalteyri. This whale was very friendly and came to show us several times. We had the opportunity to see not only its entire length, but also its majestic tail, which it showed us every time it went for a deeper dive. Did you know that we can identify them based on their tail? Every humpback whale tail is unique. It has different shapes and colors. It's like a fingerprint for us.

We also had several Northern Fulmars around. These awesome birds kept us company the whole time.

In the afternoon we had the chance to find our humpback whale friend from the morning again. We had the opportunity to observe this whale several times and even a couple of times the whale decided to look at us closely.

Another beautiful day behind us and we are already looking forward to tomorrow.
