Hello everyone!

Today we had very nice encounters with Humpback whales in a very good weather, partially cloudy, so we enjoyed some sunshine as well, and no so windy made the perfect conditions for sailing. Even though we had to sail a bit further today as we spotted the whales on the west side of the island of Hrísey, there, we were extremely lucky as the two Humpback whales we spotted in the morning were coming up close to our boats and then they were behaving calm and raising their flukes all the time. The afternoon tours were very similar, this time with just one of the whales, but again showing itself friendly with us. On the way to the area when we saw the Humpies, we also spotted the cute harbour porpoises. Regarding the birdlife, we saw puffins, common and black guillemots, fulmars, artic terns and the beautiful arctic skuas.
