Hello beautiful people,

today we started the the first tours with high expectations of course, since the great show we got delivered yesterday. And I tell you what, we did not get disappointed! Morning conditions were calm and even the sun peaked through, probably just to make the whale spotting easy as. No wind and the perfect light really make the blow of a Humpback visible and yehaaw they can go big. We spotted around 7 Humbacks around us and all of them south of Hjaltery. So these fellas traveled a little south since yesterday. We could also see lots more spouts further north in the distance, but why go there if you’re already surrounded by lots of whales showing off their pretty backs. The wind definitely picked up in the afternoon, making our later tours a little more adventurous, which was enjoyed big time by our guests. Again we encountered plenty of Humpacks, the same ones from earlier but this time a little bit further north from Hjaltery.

Now clouds and a proper storm a moving in. Lets see what it’s like tomorrow.
