G’day again,
as predicted yesterday, todays tours have been pretty wet, due to rain but also stronger wind (which increased throughout the day), which then created some wind waves splashing over the rib boats and even our smalles classic boat Konsull. Furthermore the buouy outside the fjord was reading waves at 3m with a direction from the north east, which pulled into the fjord and gave showed us a little bit what true sailing can be like. Our customers felt great and used to the swell. After sailing for about an hour we spotted 2 Humpback Whales that popped up right in front of us and showed us some saucy fluking. They were the same individuals we have had in the area the past few days and even weeks. One of them is injured and thankfully seems to be healing well.
Time to jump in the hot tub now and warm up a bit.
Cheers
