Nice and crisp in the morning. Lovely sunrise and blue skies. Later in the afternoon a few clouds rolled in and coloured the fjord in a red sunset. In the morning it was very calm, but in the afternoon we had some moderate N wind. Also a fair amount of swell rolling in.
In the morning we saw 6 Humpbacks in the area just South of Höfði and 3 more Humpbacks on our return South around Strýtan. We had some great encounters with the whales and really had the time to observe and acknowledge the small minor differences in the swimming behaviour of the individual whales. A really nice tour made especially fun watching the whales disappear and suddenly emerge in the swell that we experienced.
In the afternoon classic and rib tour went out and shared 3 Humpback Whales together around the buoy. Two of them were swimming as a pair and the other one was swimming by itself. We also encountered another Humpback Whale further north in Raudavik.
