Mondayish calmness in the air. Cloudy skies, few rain showers, pretty much flat sea and its just not really that cold right now. Feels just about as good as it can be in this time of the season. The best part about it is that the fjord is full of whales right now.

We saw 4 Minke Whales surrounded by pods of Harbour Porpoises, all actively feeding. Definitely good show worth stopping for, we have spent with those hungry whales few moments and then we took it further north as we were expecting to find some Humpback Whales. All of this happened in a stretch of about 3 kilometers starting just past our most famous orientation point the Green Buoy and further North of it. First blow appeared out of nowhere just five minutes later. We were all completely shocked to find out, that it is not just one but at least 8 Humpback Whales, they were just everywhere, some came to check us out up close. This does not need a commentary, as the whales announce themselves with their powerful blow while we have no engines on.

Afternoon edit: Pretty much the same story, just add to it surface feeding Humpbacks to top the whale show in the end alongside with Minke Whales, Porpoises and hundreds of birds (mostly gulls). We haven’t seen surface feeding Humpbacks in a while, so it is rather exciting for everyone.
