We had the most fantastic conditions today, with great weather, a fjord like a mirror and sunshine!
During our tours today, we encountered Harbor Porpoises on several occasions as well as a big pod of White-beaked Dolphins and two different Humpback Whales!
We spotted the cetaceans south of Hrísey and had super special encounters with them!
It was unbelievable. The dolphins got very playful and close to our boat, bow riding and surfacing around us!
The Humpbacks were very calm and we saw them resting during the morning tour, where we spotted them swimming and surfacing together. In the afternoon, they had separated, but were still surfacing in a relatively close area to each other, so we still got to watch both of them!
An incredible day that left us speechless.
