We had a pretty warm and sunny day in Eyjafjörður today with good sailing conditions!
Southeast of Hrísey, we spotted one Humpback Whale blow! After a little while, we also spotted a second blow further north in the distance. This means, that there were two Humpback Whales in the area!
We stayed with the whale, which we spotted first and got to enjoy seeing it resurface a number of times, even close to us! During the tour, we had plenty of beautiful encounters with this Humpback and we got to see it very well when it came up to the surface to breathe.
On our way back, we also had a good look at the warm waterfall across from Akureyri!
We had a fantastic time out in the fjord today and are already curious about the tours tomorrow!
