Hello Whale friends...
Today we had cloudy weather, with light rain in the morning.
However, the water surface was like a mirror, so no dorsal fin could escape our sight.
On our morning tour, we saw a Humpback whale south of Hjalteyri, with it we spent a few minutes, and then headed north in search of other Whale friends. Along the way we saw Harbor porpoises, we were accompanied by Northern Fullmar and we also saw Arctic terns.
South of the island called Hrisey we saw several Humpback whales. It was an amazing experience. We had whales all around us, so our guests could choose their favourite Whale friend. And today we had the opportunity to see not only humpback whales, but also Minke Whale.
On the afternoon tour, after sailing north, we had the opportunity to see Minke Whale and also Harbor porpoises. But we sailed to the place where we saw a lot of our Humpback whale friends in the morning. And we saw again a few of them. Some were curious and came to take a closer look at us..Even one of them showed us in all her beauty. We saw an acrobatic jump of a Humpback whale. The amazing world of whales never ceases to amaze me and I'm looking forward to tomorrow
