Welcome to weekend whale watching!
The weather today was very windy from the South in the morning, which unfortunately caused us to cancel our tours. Luckily, it calmed down enough for us to head out on our classic tours in the afternoon.
At 1pm we were surprised by how good the conditions were on the water. Even further out around the green buoy it was relatively flat. That just shows us again, you can not trust the forecasts up here and will have to go out and see yourself.
Nice for our guests though, to have a cruisy tour, especially when the air temperature is above 20 degrees. A little further north of the buoy we then spotted one Humpback Whale which was soon joined by another one. In total we saw 3 Humpback Whales showing their tails. Furthermore, some Harbour Porpoises were spotted along the way.
