Today in the fjord we experienced a strong South Westerly wind creating some waves on the surface of the water.

We sailed out on both morning tours as well as our afternoon Classic tour to the area between the Green Buoy and Hjalteyri and here there were several Humpback Whales. During our morning tour, we were blessed with a long series of chin slaps followed by three head slap half breaches. This whale then dived and we did not see it until later it returned with a singular spy hop!
As the sea conditions started to worsen throughout the afternoon, we cancelled our afternoon Express tours. We hope that the weather conditions improve for our tours tomorrow and we are looking forward to heading back into the fjord on our tours in the next days!
