What a fantastic day in our fjord!
Today, we sailed out on our tours with a bit of a swell and wind, but overall we had fine weather conditions.
During our tours, we encountered several pods of Harbor Porpoises as well as four Minke Whales. The Minkes were spotted north of Svalbarðseyri and around the green buoy.
Additionally, we saw a total of eight Humpback Whales! During the day, they were spotted between the green buoy and Hjalteyri and on our evening tours, we spotted two Humpbacks swimming together south of Svalbarðseyri! What a sight!
It was such an exciting day, filled with pec slapping, breaching and head slapping! Amazing.
