Hello all whale enthusiasts,

today we were greeted with beautiful sunny weather and the fjord was like a mirror... In this weather, no dorsal fin will hide from us. Before we found our Whale friends, we had the opportunity to observe Northern Fulmars and Artic Terns... When we got closer to Hjalteyri, we found not one whale but four Humpback Whales! Some were very curious and came to look at us closely. The guests had the opportunity to see different tails, which we look at to identify individuals. Humpback Whales are usually solitary and therefore it is very special to see more whales together.
The afternoon tours encountered the same Humpbacks again!
