Sun’s out, but we also had the first frost on the ground this year. Since yesterday, we are having some lovely weather but today we do not have that strong N wind. That means a sunny glassy fjord. Nevertheless, further out in the jord, there is still a decent amount of swell.
In the morning we found one Humpback Whale in Hjalteyri. Further north, SE of Hrisey we saw 10 or more Humpback Whales.
The afternoon conditions looked rather wavy. We did encounter some Humpbacks really very close. And again, all of them were in the same spot we found them during the morning.
