We sailed out on another sunny day, with little wind in Eyjafjörður.
Once again, we spotted Piccolo, the Humpback Whale which seems to become a regular in our harbor of Akureyri!
It was a beautiful tour, watching the Humpback resurface frequently in Pollurinn. It arched the back to indicate the deep dives several times, but also lifted the tail repeatedly! We got to enjoy close encounters, seeing Piccolo surface right in front of us, taking a few breaths before diving deep again.
We sailed further out after enjoying this Humpback for a little while and got to see the beauty of the fjord as well!
We hope Piccolo stays in the area longer and we are excited to sail out tomorrow!
