We sailed in great weather conditions today, quite warm temperatures for March and calm seas.
We spotted a blow northeast of Hrísey and spotted one Humpback Whale there! This whale seemed a bit curious and resurfaced really close to us several times. It was fantastic, waiting for the next encounter with our engine turned off, hearing the whale come up in such close proximity! We watched this Humpback for a while before it was time to sail back to Akureyri eventually, enjoying the scenery of Eyjafjörður along the way.
We are already looking forward to what we will experience tomorrow!
